Papaya Salad (Som Tum)

Ingredients :

Green papaya

Cherry tomatoes

Long greens

Cucumber (optional)

Chilli

Lime

Tamarin juice

Dried shrimp

Garlic

Fish sauce

Palm sugar

Roasted peanuts

 

First step:

Shred  the green papaya. With a mortar and a pestle, smash a clove of  garlic and chilli. Add the long green beans and the cherry tomatoes cut in haft. Smash fews times until you get juice from the tomatoes. Then after add the green papaya, dried shrimp, tamarin juice,  roasted peanuts, lime juice, fish sauce and palm sugar. Smash few times again and mix all together with a spoon. Voila!
